Why we use these ingredients?

Emu: The use of emu oil originates from the Australian Aborigine culture. According to their oral history, emu oil has been used for over 40,000 years. It helps to heal adverse skin conditions better than any plant-based product. It out performs Aloe Vera or lavender oil when applied to burns. Emus are ethically harvested for the meat and in order to not waste, the oil is collected from the skin and refined for use in health care products because of its great benefit.

Avocado butter: Avocado oil is the natural oil pressed from the pulp of an avocado. Almost 70% of avocado oil consists of heart-healthy oleic acid, a monounsaturated omega-9 fatty acid. This fatty acid is also the main component of olive oil, and believed to be partly responsible for its health benefits. Additionally, around 12% of avocado oil is saturated fat and about 13% is polyunsaturated fat. While avocado oil has a high omega-6 to omega-3 ratio, this shouldn’t be of concern as the total amount of omega-6 is relatively low. Cold pressed from fruit.

Almond butter:  contains Vitamin E, which helps to keep your skin cells healthy, protects your skin from UV radiation damage, and helps your skin look smooth, soft, and free of fine lines. The fatty acids help your skin retain moisture and can heal chapped and irritated skin. Plus, the vitamin A can help reduce acne.  Cold pressed from nut.

Capsaicin: Extracted from the chili pepper, Capsaicin helps reduce the amount of substance P, a neuropeptide produced by the body that travels to the brain to signal pain. It also helps to increase circulation by increasing vasodilation.  We use olive oil to carry it because it is a fairly neutral, well absorbed oil full of good fatty acid profile. Co2 extracted from fruit.

Ginger essential oil: Can be used as a topical solution as it may provide significant antioxidant protection, hence preventing skin inflammations. It also creates heat that aids in circulation issues and increases blood flow. Contains α-zingiberene, beta-sesquiphellandrene terpenes.

Black pepper: This essential oil is warming and aids in circulation. Contains β-caryophyllene, limonene, sabinene, α-pinene, ß-Pinene, δ-3-carene terpenes. Extraction Method: Steam distilled from fruit.

Marjoram: An aromatic southern European plant of the mint family, the leaves of which are used as a culinary herb. Works well pre or post workout. Contains Terpinen-4-ol, trans-sabinene hydrate, γ-terpinene. Extraction Method: steam distilled from aerial parts.

Juniper: Works as a natural cleanser and detoxifier to muscles and joints and aids in toning the skin. Contains α-pinene, sabinene terpenes. Extraction Method: Steam distilled from berry.

Rosemary: Rosmarinus officinalis, commonly known as rosemary, is a woody, perennial herb with fragrant, evergreen, needle-like leaves and white, pink, purple, or blue flowers, native to the Mediterranean region. It is a member of the mint family Lamiaceae, which includes many other herbs. Helps with varicose veins and joint flexibility. contains 1, 8-Cineole, α-pinene, camphor terpenes.
